Icetea!
The weather will be nice this week with high temperatures during the weekend. It is important to drink a lot because you sweat more and therefore lose extra fluid. The best way to maintain fluid balance is to drink plenty of fluids. For this you need on average 1.5 to 2 liters of fluid per day. Choose water, coffee and tea as much as possible. So this week a homemade green iced tea with lemon and pineapple. Delicious on a hot day!
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of water
- 3 green tea bags (I chose the green tea with cranberry)
- ½ lemon
- 150 grams pineapple
Preparation:
1. Cook the water and prepare the tea by letting the tea bags steep for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the pineapple into small pieces.
2. Cool the tea to room temperature. Squeeze half the lemon over the tea and add the pineapple.
3. Then cool the iced tea further in the refrigerator.
4. Serve with ice cubes.
Enjoy!
